How to Classify Trends

Trends may be considered as the active part of fashion world, in that they change so rapidly that sometimes we cannot keep up with the speed. For this reason, an accurate classification of fashion trends is pretty difficult but we can notice the inspirations that have marked trendy brands up to this moment.
A trendy brand is the one that meets the rigors imposed by great designers for specific seasons. The designer collections usually launched one season before their time, are the key inspiration for any trendy brand that has what it takes to be placed on top of buyers’ preferences. The choice of colors, patterns and inspiration styles are only some of the characteristics that place a trendy brand in fashion tops and that help achieve great success.
A reliable way of classifying modern trends is by the dose of vintage inspiration they contain from different points of view. For example, we have the tweed material and pattern, vintage par excellence, but which somehow managed to remain on top of designers’ choices even today, especially in elegant creations for cold seasons. This is only an example of style that inspired the trendy brand for quite some time now. Just as per this example, we also have the bright colors in day and evening outfits that returned into fashion after so many years of demure couture and subtle nuances.
For this year, the general trendy brand opts for bold color combinations used with fine and soft materials for the warm season, hence putting more highlight over comfort and wellness than on a mere aesthetic approach of the outfits. Little by little, the tendency of fashion designers has turned away from stiff forms and little comfortable sewing for the sake of fashion and started heading towards personal comfort and smooth materials that would stress natural features more than anything.
However, they say there are no rules in fashion, which is nonetheless true when it comes to a trendy brand and not only. Each designer sees the dress or the suit according to his or her own imagination, while keeping an eye on the last tendencies of course. The big fashion events held yearly in the major capitals like New York or Paris for example, suggest certain fashion rules for the respective period, which are the creation of some of the most popular designers in the world. However, the good part is that at the end of these shows you can always sum up and realize which the tendencies of the trendy brand are by and large.
It is not always easy to keep up with the latest fashion trends and tendencies; this is a fact that generated quite some frustration among fashion lovers throughout the years. However in spite of that, there are solutions for every person who would like to be in trends, by keeping an eye on the trendy brand of the year and start mixing haute couture items with other designer clothing, thus creating a successful image effect and being able to keep up with the latest fashion rules.
All in all, the trendy brand can be classified according to many principles; however none of these may be accurate enough to settle general rules. The imagination of the designer and the trends of the year are the key factors that create originality and these are the rigors that any trendy brand is guided by, as they never fail to impress.
